PAYMENT OPTIONS:

CCAvenue.com provides payment gateway services and the settlement currency is in INR (Rs.). This payment gateway is ideally suited for customers from India. Apart from credit card customers can also pay through their Bank account using the Net Banking facility as provided by the CCAvenue. One can also make payment using his/her mobile phone and cash cards like ItsCash.

 

2. PayPal (US Dollars)

PayPal provides payment gateway services and the settlement currency is in US Dollars ($). This payment gateway is ideally suited for customers from outside India.

 

3. Cheque / Demand Draft

We accept Banker's Cheque or Demand Draft from customers if they are not able to pay through Credit Card or Net Banking options.

 

4. Cash on Delivery

This is a service provided by us wherein the books/products are sent to the customers using V.P.P mode by the Indian Postal Service. The customers are required to pay the amount to the Postman who delivers the package at the shipping address provided by you.

SHIPPING POLICY:

1) The shipping charges for customers in India are applicable as follows:

           a. For 1st Book ordered = Rs. 40

           b. For subsequent number of Books ordered = Rs. 10 per Book

 

2) The shipping charges for customers outside India are calculated on the basis of the weight of the book purchased by you and the shipping address i.e. the Country in which the shipment is to be sent.

 

3) For shipment outside of India the parcels are sent through

             a. Indian Postal Services (Registered Airmail)

             b. Speed Post International (ETA 4 to 5 Working Days)

             c. Deutsche Post DHL Express

Following is our shipping policy:

 

• A shipping charge is applicable on all items at Booksforyou.co.in. There is no minimum order value at Booksforyou.co.in across any of our categories. At our bookstore, you can order books where the shipping period is between

 

• 3 to 5 days for orders in Gujarat and between 5 to 7 days for orders outside Gujarat and sometimes more depending on the geographical location and Pincode.

For customers based outside India the shipping period can be between 1 to 7 weeks depending on the country of the customer. These orders cannot be cancelled since they are specifically packed and dispatched.

 

• Manufacturing issues and Publisher restrictions prevent us from shipping certain products to all geographical locations. Books from few publishers can only be sold and shipped to SAARC countries i.e. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Afghanistan. You'll be notified while placing your order if we're unable to ship specific items to the address you've selected. You are requested to check shipping Availability details before placing an order.

 

• You may be subject to import duties and taxes on certain items, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Additionally, when ordering from booksforyou.co.in you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

 

• Shipment of items against an order is subject to availability and is at the sole discretion of Booksforyou.co.in.

 

• The Shipping Address is where you wish to receive your order. It could be your home or office or any other valid address. You must submit your shipping address correctly to ensure the book reaches you promptly.

 

• Once any order and its payment are fully processed, we pack items for shipping. This is done with special care, so that they reach you in perfect condition. Our carrier delivers these items at the Shipping Address submitted by you while filling up the online order form.

 

• Shipping time is the time taken to deliver an order at a shipping address, after the order has been shipped out.

 

• We deliver the merchandise on given specific shipping address only & not in the hand of specific person. If recipient is not at the given address, the books are likely to be left with the neighbor along with an attached note. For the items delivered by the courier / speed post / registered post, their respective policies apply. If the customer fails to collect the item from our carrier partner we are not resposible for the same and no refund requests will be entertained.

 

• We are not responsible for missed/late deliveries due to curfews, acts of government, acts of nature, holidays, incorrect addresses or acts of war.

 

• We reserve the right to deny its services to any sender, without any explanation. www.booksforyou.co.in is not liable for more than the retail cost of item.

 

• We shall try our best for prompt delivery. However delayed/early delivery for whatever reason shall not entitle the user for any damages or compensation.

 

• Inspite of full caution taken at the time of delivery, www.booksforyou.co.in will not be responsible for a wrong delivery if the receiver of the books at the address on the order form misappropriates, damages or fails to hand over the books to the person named on the order form and takes the item posing himself to be the correct person.

 

• www.booksforyou.co.in will deliver exactly the same items displayed on its web pages and from the same sources indicated. However, in certain unavoidable circumstances arising due to non availability of products from indicated sources, it reserves the right to change the source and deliver approximately similar kind of product. If similar kind of product is not available, www.booksforyou.co.in will inform the sender to change the order or wait until it becomes available.
